DARA’s victory at Eurovision 2026 is a historic moment for Bulgaria. For us at Hotel Yastrebets, this success also carries a very personal meaning. The song “Bangaranga”, which impressed millions of viewers across Europe, was created right here. It was born during one of the annual songwriting camps we organize together with our partners, songwriters, and producers.

Years ago, we started this initiative with belief in music and young artists. We believed that when talented people come together in an inspiring place, something truly special can happen. From the very beginning, our goal was to create an environment for creativity, collaboration, and new music.

The nature of the Rila Mountains, the peaceful atmosphere, and the spirit of Hotel Yastrebets gradually turned these songwriting camps into a favorite destination for artists and music professionals. Over the years, dozens of songs, music projects, and creative collaborations have been created here.

The success of “Bangaranga” is a proud moment for all of us. The song is proof of what can happen when talent, inspiration, and the right environment come together. For us, these camps have never been just music events. They are built on partnership, trust, and a shared vision to support the growth of artists and music creators.

We would like to thank DARA, as well as all the songwriters, producers, and organizers who have been part of the songwriting camps at Hotel Yastrebets throughout the years. It is an honor for us that the story of “Bangaranga” began here — the song that brought Bulgaria its Eurovision 2026 victory.
