Borovets, Bulgaria – In the heart of the Rila Mountains, surrounded by centuries-old pine forests and fresh mountain air, we at Yastrebets Wellness & Spa, a leading spa hotel in Borovets, introduce a new concept for sustainable tourism and a healthy lifestyle. We combine modern comfort with ancient knowledge of nature, energy and the human body.

Following a complete renovation of our accommodation facilities, we welcome our guests with a refreshed interior that blends alpine coziness with contemporary design. Our accommodation includes 57 units – 34 rooms, 4 junior suites, 4 spacious suites and 15 Finnish villas nestled in the forest. We have designed these spaces to offer comfort, elegance and functionality, while ensuring privacy, tranquility and a deep connection with nature.

A Spa Philosophy Inspired by the Nature of Rila

At the core of the experience at Yastrebets Wellness & Spa, a distinctive spa hotel in Borovets, lies our spa philosophy inspired by the natural richness of the Rila Mountains, often described as a “living herbal garden”. Here, we develop one of our most unique concepts – a combination of herbal healing, energy therapies and modern holistic practices.

Rila Herbs at the Heart of Our Spa Concept

We build our spa identity around the power of mountain herbs. They are present in every aspect of the experience – from the aromas in our thermal areas to specially crafted treatments and oils.

We use herbal blends with chamomile, lavender and sage in teas and therapies that support detoxification and relaxation.

We pay special attention to biodynamic herbal oils, which we create on-site. These are prepared according to anthroposophical principles, viewing the human being as a unity of body, mind and spirit. We hand-pick the herbs following the lunar calendar, at the precise moment when their natural energy is strongest.

These oils, made from St. John’s wort, chamomile and lavender, are designed not only to affect the body physically, but also to support natural regeneration, balance the nervous system and restore inner harmony.

The Alchemy of Nature and the Human Body

Our approach at Yastrebets Wellness & Spa, a modern spa hotel in Borovets, can be described as a contemporary interpretation of ancient “alchemy” – transformation through natural elements, energy and knowledge.

We believe that health is the result of balance between the physical body, emotions and inner energy.

Our holistic bio-herbal program is designed to restore this balance and support the body’s natural state of harmony. We combine ancient practices with modern technologies to create an experience that goes beyond traditional spa tourism.

Biomagnetic Therapy – A Bridge Between Science and Energy

One of the most innovative treatments we offer at our spa hotel in Borovets is biomagnetic pair therapy.

This method uses magnetic fields to restore the body’s energy balance. It is based on the idea that the human body has its own magnetic polarity, and imbalances may lead to various conditions.

By placing magnets on specific points, we aim to restore equilibrium and stimulate the body’s natural healing processes. The therapy is non-invasive and supports circulation, vitality and overall well-being.

Technology Meets Tradition

In addition to biomagnetic therapy, we offer advanced energy analysis using a biopulsar reflexograph. This device visualizes the body’s condition by measuring energy flows.

This type of analysis allows us to create personalized therapy plans tailored to each guest’s individual needs, enhancing our holistic approach.

A Spa Area Inspired by Nature

Our spa center is designed as a space for deep relaxation and recovery. It includes a wide range of thermal facilities:
